Summer Shipping
As the heat swoops in and settles across the US, we start to worry about what it may do to our Goose Juice we slaved over for 12-36 months as it makes its way to you and your doorstep.
To keep your wine from experiencing extreme heat, we have 3 options to ensure the wine gets to you in perfect condition.
- BUY Now, SHIP Later - Buy the wine now while it’s still available and we will save it until the weather improves.
- Upgrade Service - Choose Overnight, 2-Day, or Temp Control shipping at checkout. *Note that some states may require ice packs be added, even if shipping via expedited or temperature-controlled service.
- Add IcePacks - Icepacks can be purchased for $12.00 for 1-6 bottles, and $16.00 for 7-12 bottles. *Note that icepacks last a maximum of 48 hours in transit, therefore can only be used when shipping via 2-Day air, or Ground to CA, AZ, OR, NV, and WA
Normal ground shipping typically resumes in October, depending on the state.
Shipping Rules
Current regulations prevent us from shipping to addresses in the following states: MS, UT. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination.
You must be 21 years or older to buy wine. By placing your order with this winery you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old. When the wine is delivered, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
Shipping Timeline
Orders are typically processed 24 – 48 hours within receipt. Orders received Friday through Sunday will be shipped the following week. We will not ship product via ground in cases of extreme weather. UPS Temp Control orders ship on Fridays only. The order must be placed prior to 12pm on Tuesday to make it onto the Friday truck.
Please Note:
All prices are listed in US dollars. All orders will include delivery charges, and applicable sales tax.
You will receive an email confirming that your order was submitted. If the items are all in stock, this will be your only confirmation.
You should receive your in-stock items within 4 to 8 business days. If your order is urgent, please call the winery directly to assure proper and timely handling.
Please note that orders received after 1:00 pm PST may not ship the next business day. We ship Monday through Friday only. During the summer and winter months, we might hold your shipment until the weather permits to ship.
Order Tracking
When your package ships, you will receive an email and text message with tracking information.

Temperature Controlled Shipping
If you’ve selected to send your wine via our temperature controlled option, you will receive an email when your order leaves our facility, however, the first date you’ll see on the tracking information is when the wine will arrive to the hub in a refrigerated truck. The order must be placed prior to 12pm on Tuesday to make it onto the Friday truck.
Multiple Delivery Attempts
If no one is available to receive the package, two subsequent attempts to deliver will be made. Wine orders require an adult signature, so whenever possible, we strongly encourage you to use a commercial business address to assure the fastest delivery time.
Reroutes
If you know you will not be available to sign for your package, we can offer 3 delivery change options. 1) Reroute to a new address (must be within state lines). We always recommend a business address. 2) Reschedule the delivery for a later date. The date must be no more than 10 days in the future if the wine has already shipped. 3) Have your wine held at a UPS or FedEx facility for pickup. The location must match the carrier that shipped your wine (i.e. cannot hold wine that shipped UPS at a FedEx center). You must present a photo ID at the time of pickup, and the name must match the shipping label. The pickup hold will expire after 5 business days, after which your wine will automatically be returned. Reroutes are not guaranteed and are subject to additional fees.
Returns and Cancellations
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. Please send an email to customerservice@goosecross.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment is deemed to have been damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.
NOTE: The above terms apply to wines purchased directly from Goosecross Cellars. We do not accept returned wine purchased from a third party retailer. If there are issues with wines purchased from a third party retailer, those issues must be addressed with said retailer.
The winery will not replace product that is damaged following 1–2 missed delivery attempts.
